it was for sure clear for me, that some ppl having other opinions. But a person who is writing and using words like you do....very poor.
But as i see, you re a real defender of democracy......i am with you.....

Does anyone know where he's from or if the guy even shoots pool?
All I know about him is he starts threads that instigate trouble... Yet he does it in a way that makes him look innocent.
 
Maybe we should try and get all cue makers, except Meucci, removed from pool as well. I mean, cmon...We should ALL have to gamble on 9ft tables, not be allowed to play in leagues and use the same cue. How can anyone not see this?! :yikes:

It's obvious you are very new to the game be this and all of your posts.

Haven't you realized that the only people that play tournaments anymore are those who feel they have a chance to win? Guys like you enter and have no chance at all, lose for 2 years or so and just quit the game. Seen it so many times before.

Again post your location and room you play out of and we'll find someone to play you with the proper handicap. We'll see what you know then...banger.

I just asked him this question for about the 8th time. He's a big Pocketpuss, scared to show himself or his game.

Enough with the "what's wrong with pool crap". We all know the game is dying, a blind man could see that. You can't force people to play.
 
At one time ,I was all for banning him. His first few threads,,seemed very troll like,,starting threads that were stirring the pot. And still does in a way. But,,there is a difference here. PP does follow up on his threads,,, and for that,,,,no matter what he says,,,,,I think he deserves some credit. Not just a punk ,,,troll.

Sometimes I believe he is Earl the pearl himself!!! lol

Thinking about that ,some of his posts make more sense. The attitude,,and perspective. lmao

I didn't vote,,,,,but PP don't get a big head from my comments. If there was a "on the hill" option in the poll. I would have voted.

Who is PocketPoint

Let me say I don't participate in polls or voting unless is beneficial to the game!

Now, who is PocketPoint?

1. A very immature young man with no concept of how the game has evolved over the past 30 years.

2.PocketPoint is President Obama and his opinion is the only thing that counts.

3.A big fish in a little pond and can't get anyone to gamble with, but will not leave the comfort of the pond.

4. A pool room groupie that is pool frustrated because he can't get any better!

I think #1 is the answer, because if he were older he would know that leagues have introduced more people to the game than tournaments. If I'm not mistaken in the late 90's pool was the 2nd most participant of any sport only behind little league baseball. I play a lot of tournaments and the spectator base is not there. Look at the ACS, APA, BCA, or VNEA National, it is only pool players and their families and just think if these were not in existent where we would be. The leagues has help introduce young players to the game and give them encouragement to go to the Jr. Nationals (Boys and Girls). If it were not for leagues I would not have meet the amount of friend I have now.

PocketPoint, you're correct about your skill level not being that important here. What does matter is a strong argument that supports your opinions. For an example, see some of Paul Schofield's threads. In one, he proposes the elimination of long runs. He didn't win everybody over, but he did raise the question in a diplomatic way that generated several pages of intelligent, mature discussion -- as opposed to the chair-throwing that your posts foster.
 
He is clearly someone who has posted here under some other name before.

He is doing this to incite people. He is sitting back and enjoying himself immensely, seeing the reaction he continues to get from people.

I'm not usually in favor of posting people simply because they post nonsense. But when someone continuously creates threads for the sole purpose of creating turmoil and discontent, then I'm prepared to make an exception. Not because of his content, but because it is clear this is intentional.
 
Don't agree with PocketPoint much but the threads are wildly entertaining. I vote no...

Your on the list for a lot of people BTW.

It is difficult to ignore PP when half of every thread in the main forum is started by PP and usually on the same topic as another thread.

Don't be fooled Coco, PP is pulling everyones chain just to get attention.
