Show me the Diveneys...

Here's 2 for ya with lake salvage shafts and G-10 pins. You should do a search on them, there are a few still for sale. These are examples of his work and are not for sale.

Playability?

How does the Diveney hustler play in comparison to a Frey. I play with a Frey and am interested in trying a Diveney or Josey.

Diveney for Sale

I have a nice Diveney butterfly sneaky that I might part with. It is a cocobolo sneaky with an awesome snakewood butterfly. If you PM me with an email address I will send you photos and see what you think.

Thanks,

Dakota

I have had a few Frey's and a few Diveney's, and found both to be sporty sneakies. I just got in a Fancy Josey Sneaky, and will be trying it out this week. I liked the Frey, nice stiff hit, and the Diveney is very comparable, IMHO. After playing with the Frey's, I found I liked the Diveney better, especially for my game. But I have been told that the Josey will be better. I probably won't be selling the Josey, starting my collection, but you should try out a Diveney. You can find a used Diveney butterfly hustler for relatively low $$$, and well worth it.
Of course one of the best sneakies I have owned was an Espiritu Butterfly sneaky. 4.2 oz shaft, and beautiful design. It was a monster, and I know who has it if interested.

My son uses the butterfly. The ivory jointed cue is the nicest hitting cue I ever tried.

Another example of Pat's work can be found here - Pat Diveney Cue

They are used by Rodolfo Luat aka Boy Samson, one of the Philippines' billiards greats.

They are not for sale, but i hope you like what you see.

Clydell, that is one hell of a nice cue!

I bet it hits sweet with the ivory joint and G10 pin...
