Hi Guys,
I thought it's about time that we now show the most important part of the cue, the shaft!! It far too often that we like to show off the quality of the cue but hardly has anyone really show the most powerful part of the cue..IMO the shaft quality is what makes the cue plays like a magic wand.
Skip Weston: 12.92 mm (4.05 oz No insert..the shaft has curly throughout the shaft and play awesome. Hard Molavia is installed with Ivory Ferrule.
Skip Weston: 13.10 mm (4.12 oz No insert..)..Original Medium Moori with Ivory Ferrule
Both skip shafts have near perfect straight grain with translucent curly..love how it plays with the butt.
Alex Brick shaft: 12.4 mm, straight grain, with aegis ferrule...sweet taper and player
I'm will have pics of my favourite curly maple shaft along with a shaft that's probably the best shaft of all time for me from Joel Weinstock cue. Some shaft works from Don Broos
Now lets see some more shafts work.
