LOL...I can't imagine anyone who can ignore the title of this thread.
I was just wondering what people's preference was when considering the primary wood to be used in the making of their cue... i.e.what would makes up the bulk of the cue's construction (butt, wrapless handle, forearm, ect)? What about it do you like?
Cocobolo? Rosewood? Birdseye maple?
Personally....I loves me curley purpleheart, tulipwood, and amboyna burl. All three have a tendancy to have tremendous depth and variety of figure within a single piece of wood. I generally find all three to be so magnificent...they scarcely need to be decorated with inlays of any variety...they make the cue what it is aesthetically all by themselves.
