Although I've sold several, I kept some real vintage cases.

I used to collect all kinds of it's George cases, sold all but 7 or 8.
The black 3-6 was a very early one according to Mike Roberts.
The 2-4 has a Fellini latch, and I picked up a real old 2-4 with a strap and a handle.
I've seen newer 2-4 with a handle, but never and old one.
I'll take a pic of mine but I would be surprised to see another vintage it's George 2-4 with a strap and a handle.

I have a 1x1. You don't see many of those. It's a leather print. I want a smooth black one and missed out on a brand new one recently (old stock).
I did land an NOS ostrich Kelli 1x2 case. Still in the plastic with tags on it. That made me feel better about missing out on the It's George case. :wink:
I prefer the earlier ones with the Fellini lock. Yes, the latch isn't as good, but I prefer it aesthetically.

My absolute favorite cases. I think any of us who grew up really getting into pool in the mid to late 80's loved these cases. I have several but this is my daily "just in case I get a chance to play pool today I'll throw this in the car" case. Burgandy eel print 2 x 4. I need to find a good solid 3 x 6 but I just haven't run across one for sale as of yet.

This is another real old one, and when I saw the handle I had to buy it.
From the Kellerman cue auction back in 2010.
I think I bid it up to $185 which pissed another guy off.
Same thing with my ostrich print 3-6, I bid it up to $350 and the same guy stormed off.

Probably cowhide but I don't know what they use for sure.
The eel print it's George cases are real popular
All smooth leather, vintage. Black and burgundy.
Looking for a 1x2 smooth black to complete the set.
