Show your home cue rack

Ok, finally got some pics uploaded of the cue rack that I built. It was Gold Crown inspired but without the rubber push-in retainers at the top. That would have been difficult for me to replicate. It was a lot of work and a bit of a pain but I'm pretty happy with it. I would highly recommend that even if you paint it, to use good hardwoods, because cheap pine will warp and be difficult to deal with.

I've seen some very nice racks here.:thumbup2:
Got me a little bit more inspired so all I need to do is get starting to build my own...

Taking your advice regriding the wood, I will make sure to use hardwood.
Pics coming when the rack is finished.

Still like to see some more racks.

I had John Tschirhart of custom billiards build a custom rack to match my table. He's a great guy and did a fantastic job.

There use to be an AZ member make and sell VERY nice cabinets but for the life of me I can't remember who it was.

Anybody remember ????

We are getting our home ready to sell and one of the first things to get sold was the pool table. We are moving across country and we aren't taking any furniture that I can't lift by myself. LOL However, I kept my ball storage shelf and the cue rack. I figured if I let them get sold, I may not get another table later on....this way I can prop them in the new living room and my wife will feel guilty.
