I have three Showman's on order. The first two are 1.5-2 yrs from delivery.The third one is 2.5-3 yrs. from delivery and was to be his third ever ivory handled cue although it does not need to be.John's wait is 6+ yrs.Here is a chance to really jump ahead.I will sell the spots starting at $500 per spot to the highest bidder.The winning bidder gets the spot. The winner will not need to send a deposit to John and will acqiure my spot and the cue spot you win will have a $500 dollars credit on John's end as he already has my deposit for the cues.The cues can be built to winners specs.The auction will run till 5PM EST on 10/20/08.I will accept pay-pal or Money orders.

Specs

If they are 1.5-2 years from delivery do you know when john will want finalised designs and specs. Is john ok with spots being passed on to other people?

This is alright with John. If you have any concerns please contact him and he will verify this is on the up and up.Swiss Chris opens with $500 and lenoxmjs opens with $500 for one.

So if we offer $601 for a spot and pay you $601 we will then have a $500 credit with John Showman? Put us down for $601.00
 
I didn't realize that it was an auction. How do we determine which spot we're bidding on and when does the auction end? I'm still in by the way.

Can the first post keep us up to date with the highest bid on each spot?

In the meantime, I'll go $630 for the spot in the 1.5-2 year range.
 
the 1.5yr-2yrs I have bids for 630 and 625. the 2.5-3yr with option for ivory handle is 601.The order is Alpine9430,UK-Collector,Waldos. The auction will end 10-20-08 at 5PM EST.If you wish to stay anonymous just PM your bid otherwise I will post names in forum.Once you win the spot you can contact John for your specs and price of cue.Rember $500 of your bid is actually cosidered a down payment to John since he has deposits of mine already.The amount over $500 is how much you are willing to really jump up on the list.I am only doing this because of economic problems here at home.
