Is it common for a veneer to seem to be washed out?, there is just a hint of it on one side of the cue, all others are perfect.

Washed out greenish blue.

Perfect on the other sides.

Yes, pretty common to see flaws of one sort or another with those. It's quite rare to ever see veneers approaching perfect on a Titlist conversion.

I've had a few over the years where it seems one color 'bleeds' into another one like that.

Thank you Sean, I think it gives the cue a little more character. I love it.

They were mass produced house cues. Even nice ones often have flaws. Perfection simply isn't often found in them.

That cue being converted by Showman, and looking to be ebony, is a great cue I think. One would "tolerate" more flaws on an ebony Titlist I would think.

As you say, the flaws add character. That's the way I see it on the conversions.
