I have seen this strategy before, what you've described your opponent doing.

We had a guy around here that we called "Diablo Squirrel" who shot just okay but he won a lot of matches because he rolled *all* of his shots at a speed that if he missed he would almost always block that pocket.

Then he would block another, then another, like a squirrel, straight from hell, storing his nuts. :grin:

Very surprising how many matches he won that on paper he should not have.
