great shot tho..shout out to genipool
Absolutely primo shot! But no shout outs to Genipool... some of his IG/FB video content is such garbage I can't bring myself to do more than a mental click/table tap :ROFLMAO: If anything, I'm slightly relieved/surprised to see the dude can genuinely hold a stick considering some of the content he puts out... +5 respect points

I haven't been following his content lately, but in years past he's produced quality highlight etc. vids..I knew he could play a little, but never seen him in a tourna

Tons of edited, bad dub, viral garbage.
"This is incorrect... please re-do...this is correct"
Makes me want to gauge my eyes out.
Worse than 'Aaron the pool shark" which I didn't think was possible.

Good to see he's actually a competent player though! That was some shot!

All good so far. This one is pretty special, by an unknown Chinese player:

This is hard to beat in terms of low probability, if you ignore any other routes for the CB (e.g. jaw -> jaw -> 7, or jaw -> jaw -> middle pocket jaw -> 7) you could try this a thousand times and not make it once.

A good player would always hit the first jaw. With good aim and execution, most of the time you'd also hit the second jaw. But after that, it gets very chaotic. Odds of hitting the third jaw would probably be somewhere around 1/100. After that, the 4th jaw hit is pretty likely, but to hit it and also get the CB to hit the 7 and pot it is probably around 1/50. That gives a rough estimate of 1/5000.

For a less solid player with less accurate attempts, you could be looking at an expected amount of tens of thousands of tries.

I played this same shot on 7ft Diamond gfrande finale tournament we have once in year. Object ball was around 1 diamond away from pocket in end rail.
Funny was that my I played that same opponent last year one tournament and he came asking "How did you shoot that one shot back in Grande Finales" I replied I don´t know what shot you mean, I played many shots.. "
Then he said about hitting to middle point and making it from end rail.
Then I remember shot and put it on table and asked "do you mean this one?" He was "yeah"
I then just said "something like this "
And drilled it again on 9ft table, first try :D:D:D

Shot that OP posted is actually well known trick shot on pool table. It is different on Chinese table but same idea.. I did shoot it on my old trick shot video. around 2:16
If this was lucky then Efren isn't the goat everyone thinks he is
And about Efren. I heard idea for this trick shot(around 1:45 on video) from Finnish player Aki Heiskanen who was playing World 9-ball Champs around 2000. He said they played Scotch doubles on practice tables and he was pairing with Efren and Efren made that shot on game just for laughs :D
Also Aki was frozen to ball one time and Efren said no safe just make it and Aki told I can´t and Efren came and drilled shot in game that was on around 1:32

So making all these in row and scotch doubles tell that he (was)is just that good luck obeys him.
