Side Pockets in St Charles just off Highway 70 @ the 5th Street exit will be holding a team tournament on Saturday and Sunday. Only qualified teams will play.

The opportunity for action, from the players on teams that gets knocked out are there for those of you in the area this weekend.

Perhaps this should be listed in the Action Room, but I am just throwing it out there. I would say Saturday mid afternoon and all day Sunday fishing will be available.

The 11 a.m. round should wrap up about 3 p.m. and half the teams will be eliminated. Some players will be looking for action, some will drown their sorrows and head home.

This should be a good event with lots of fish in the sea, as Mark put it!

I'd come out, but Zim's Rack 8-Ball League has the All-Star tournament at 5-Star in Troy, IL. Calcutta starts at 12:30 (Mark- have time stop by and pick a horse or 3), play immediatly after. The top 32 players qualified to play. Should be some fishing available after 5pm!

We play our first match at 11 a.m. If I had a helicopter I might be able to make it between matches but Ed Libby probably would not let me leave.

Provide me a list of the all stars, and I can phone it in. Is the All Star handicapped or heads up?
 
I would like to bet that less than $1,000 in bets changes hands during both combined. Just sayin'.
