Hello - This is Greg Wright, the son of late/great John T. (as in terrific) Wright. I have a nice Sigel for sale for a former customer of my dad's. Here's the pic: Sigel Cue

It's a limited edition “US Open” commemorative cue #9 of 25 numbered and signed ebony nose and backend with ivory and silver inlays. The wrap is black linen with actual silver woven into the wrap.

Asking price is $3700.00. Thanks for looking!

I would love to see better pics....the inlays look white in these pics.

Silver and black ebony make a perfect combination.

i hear good things about his cues but that's a big price tag. is that what it cost new or did it appreciate?

Mikes cues usually run around $4000. They play and break racks great. Just my opinion. poolrod.

Thanx for your input. As a rule, all Joss/Sigel cues hit great & appreciate. Bill Stroud isn't getting any younger & I know his vision is getting bad, so the sad fact is that he won't be making cues much longer (if he even still is-I've been outta the loop since my dad passed in '04). :frown:

Good luck with the sale. Rod.

Mike spent a few years working in the Joss cue shop learning how to make cues. poolrod.

True-sorry 4 the misunderstanding, poolplayer2093  I think Mike's too hyper to stay focused long enough to make a cue LOL
TTT....unique opportunity to own a piece of history-US Open cue #9/25 made & signed by Sigel himself

Your asking price is unrealist and unattainable. I suggest that you do a search of the archives to see others' opinions and selling prices for these cues. Sigel cues are almost unsellable at any price, for good reason.

Above is a sad, but true fact about Mike's cues. He came out trying to sell VERY expensive cues based on his reputation as a Top player. His first, and last mistake as a cuemaker.

Greg, I admired your father greatly and whole heartedly enjoyed every sitting in your basement, whilst listening like a boyscout being taught how to get to 3rd base with a girl, when your father spoke.

Unfortunately, I firmly believe he would agree with the aforementioned statement.

Mike worked at Joss with Dan Janes, not Bill Stroud. Bill Stroud and Tim Scruggs had left Joss by the time Mike was making any cues at Joss.

I'm glad i wasn't the one that posted this. i sure was thinking it though
