Sigel Unlimited Cues

I was curious as to how many AZBers are familiar with the cues made by Mike Sigel or at least his company. I went to their website simply because Mike is one of my all time favorite players, and I couldn't tell how current the website was or if Mike was even still in the cue business. Has anyone ever hit with one of these cues or known someone who owns one? How are they priced? Is this a case of good equipment endorsed by a great player, or a great player endorsing mediocre equipment in order to charge higher prices and make a quick buck?

These cues are not the same as Mike Sigel custom cues, they are an Asian line of his. They are low priced but very nice quality for the dough--among the better made of the Asian cues I've looked at. The ones I saw were in the 125-250 selling price range. Of course having his name associated with the line of cues can't hurt. Wouldn't be the worst choice someone looking for a low dollar cue could make...but I'd rather have a USA made custom sneaky pete in that price range.

Sigel Unlimited was one of my first cues. They were very good cues for the price. All of his cues use high quality materials and they played great. I regret selling it because it was an awesome knock around cue. I would highly recommend them for their price and playability.

I have seen a few of his custom cues (only in photos) and have not liked the designs much. They seemed flashy and had inlays (like the 'T-Word' turquoise, yuck!) that I did not care for. However, I would love to hit with one to see what kind of feel Mike has developed in the sticks.
