Ms. Owen, I definitely plan to watch, I just need to find out what channel FSN is in my area.
I would love to watch because LJJ is quite easy on the eyes and I want to see how Mike is doing. I sure have enjoyed watching his matches over the years. Checked the IPT web site and he is looking a little grayer....
Sure wish LJJ was on ESPN more... I don't find watching the current batch of women that thrilling. Even seeing Eva more would be better.

I just found out that FSN is only available (through Comcast anyway...) in my area if I have the digital service or box. Man this bites!
Is this the same for everyone else or am I missing something. 
I'll probably have to get the DVD when it comes out instead. Still would like to see it on t.v. though...

Are you sure? We have Comcast and a cable box in the family room only, but have cable in all the other rooms. Here in my office I can get it on channel 30 without the box. Check your cable lineup again just to make sure. I am going to try to Tivo it, record it on my Qosmio laptop, AND VHS it. LOL.

You're right, I got the email and I have fired off a reply to them for clarification - I think they are mistaken. I also think the email address is from the promotions company, not sure.
A trip to the FSN website muddies the water even more. On the press release, it says The Best Damn Sports Show is on at 10:30 locally - so that should mean everywhere. At this site http://msn.foxsports.com/tv/schedule?regionCategoryId=267&date=2005-11-17&submit_button=Submit, it lets you search by region. Unfortunately, the west has 2 regions.
West shows that on the 16th, the BDSSP is on at 1:30 and 2:30pm and again at 10am (the next day?) without stating it is the IPT. For West 2, again it does not say IPT, and the times are at 4 and 5 am and again at 1:30 pm. The show listed on these regions are a Lakers game and a ducks game, respectively at the 10:30 pm time slots.
On the 17th, it does show the IPT listed as the topic on the BDSSP, however the times given for the West is 1:30 am and 2:30 am, and then again at 10am (the next day?) and for West 2, at 4 am and 5 am, then again at 1:30 pm.
This is all very confusing. Also, I notice that it is being carried back to back at every time slot which would lead me to believe it is a 2-parter, except for the fact that it shows again just once later. Their schedules are goofy, as it shows the date as the 17th, yet it starts in the am, goes to the pm, then goes back to the am.
I am going to check the local TV Guide.

Called Tip instead of waiting for the reply to my email. He says he did not write the press release and would have clarified. The match IS on Thursday, tonight is a little segment on the show which will be a short interview hyping the match, featuring LJJ and MS.
A search on tvguide.com does say it is pool on at 10:30 pm BDSSP tomorrow and the interview tonight. Whew! Now I gotta get some work done!

Comcast in my area does not carry FSN, but check your local Comcast sports net channel, the time will be all over the place because of local sports coverage. Like tonight the Sixers play, but at some time after the game 11:00 or so the show with LJJ and Mike will air, same thing with the Match Thursday night, looks like 12:00 midnight in the Philly area.
I just hope if all the future tour coverage is going to be on FSN, Comcast puts it on there sportsnet channel too, otherwise a huge amount of people in the Philly area will not see them.

Man, I'm not going to be able to see the match today. Dammit!!! You have to have their "digital" package. This STILL bites royally! Rackmsuker, the reason why you probably can get FSN through your other t.v.'s is because you have the box and they probably routed the signal to the other t.v.'s through there. Not 100% sure, but I think that's what they did. Again, does anyone know if they plan to put this match on DVD?

It could be possible - I get all channels up to 99 (the limit of our tv's) or so, but then need the box to get all the premium channels, etc.
My guess is that it will be available on DVD too.
In SE Michigan FSN is channel 30 using Comcast. Usually anything under channel 100 comes with the basic package.
The program is scheduled for midnight here and is listed as live??? There is a hockey game prior so the pool is being pushed back. I wonder why this would happen.
For all of you that don't get this channel maybe you can find a bar, pool hall etc that does and have them tune in. Our Moose lodge gets it and I know they usually will put on anything you request.
