Silliest thing you spent money on that is pool related?

Kicking can be learned in five minutes.

Sorry John......... but you arent entitled to your own facts either....... :sorry:

It is far easier to jump to make the ball than it is to kick to make the same ball. It is also far easier to jump for a hit most of the time.

It is also easier to teach people how to jump than it is how to kick. The kicking systems are a reference, not a certainty, especially table to table. So not only to you have to remember the geometric return angles off the rails, you also have to have the experience and practiced feel to be able to adjust those angles when the system as written comes a diamond short or long etc.

I have however shown people who have trouble jumping, how to dart stroke in 5 minutes or less......

starting about 25 years ago

$75, 000 in materials, equipment, and lathes for building cues.

- So many kinds of chalk case
- Red, Yellow, any color other than blue chalks
- Cheap screw-on extension (They mess up so many good cues of mine, had to send them back for refinishing)

Pro-Shot Glove.......cheaply made.....velcro straps unravelled within a couple of hrs......a piece of crap IMO.

A couple of years back, I taught one of my friends the basics in 5 minutes. After 30 minutes of practice, I came back and he was making shots like these.

I think I do better with kicks, so I haven't practice much jumping. When I did practice jump shots, I've noticed I had more cue ball control using a full sized cue than a shorty. Straight on shots, more often than not was possible to make the cue ball stop, or draw back.

It's cool you are entitled to your opinion just not your own facts. And the facts are that more people know how to kick and have more resources to learn to kick than ever before.

Kicking can be learned in five minutes. It isn't some mysterious art.
