Simonis 760 Fold Marks

I had my table re-covered with Simonis 760 cloth. There are clear marks up and down the table where the cloth has been folded (see attached picture). I'm being told to regularly brush the table (in the direction of breaking) and these marks will disappear in a few weeks. Has anyone experienced this? Does this seem reasonable (it wasn't cheap)? Any thoughts/advice appreciated.

Inability to stretch the cloth is a suspect here.
A test of that is to press down on the cloth with both hands and slide your hands together. The cloth must not bunch up.

I would be disappointed if the installer left the cloth like that. Did he try to fix it?

it needs something, and its bad cloth or bad install. not up to the customer to figure it out.

its like buying a warped cue and the seller tells you to hang it for a few weeks and it will straighten out.

The cloth is tight and doesn't bunch up. It plays perfectly with no deflection. It's really just a clear visual indication of where it's been folded.

The fold marks when newly installed Simonis that has been packed and shipped in individual sets as opposed to a bolt roll should disappear. Ours always have although it might take a month or more.

Definitely not stretched enough. Get moisture on the table it'll crease up right there. Like when you clean the table with a spray moisture of any kind will cause it to roll up. Better have them come an redo it.

The fold marks DO fade over time if the cloth is stretched properly.
That cloth does not look like it was stretched properly, since the grain is clearly all over the place. It should be nice and straight.
Yeah. Now when I watch pic with more attention I see he might put too much side stretch and that why it won´t stretch so much on another direction. It can make it so those folds not disappear so fast. He clearly did not know about stretch index of cloth. It is probably still fine and tight.
