Simonis 860 HR cloth

Simonis is very good, but I am liking my Championship Tour better.

I hate to inform you, but based on these photos, unless it is defective cloth, it surely appears to me your cloth may have been installed with the wrong side facing up.

Nope. UV light shows Simonis and serial number on top. They’ve already sent me a free replacement cloth.

That’s good to hear. When I compared a little piece of 860 HR we have, your photo sure looked more like the underside of the cloth than it did the playing surface side.

perhaps they stamped it on the wrong side. but in any case its not right and replacement is in order. and the installer should be fired for not seeing it wasnt proper.

This is how much "fuzz" I just harvested from my Simonis 860 (not HR per simonis based on serial#) using a fabric shaver recommended on this thread and i've already shaved it with a Harry's razor, a beard trimmer and a utility knife razor. and there's alot there in the pictures. its dense and thick. 100%, next time i'm getting different cloth instead of simonis.

This is how much "fuzz" I just harvested from my Simonis 860 (not HR per simonis based on serial#) using a fabric shaver recommended on this thread and i've already shaved it with a Harry's razor, a beard trimmer and a utility knife razor. and there's alot there in the pictures. its dense and thick. 100%, next time i'm getting different cloth instead of simonis.

Understandable, given the frustration...but it is the best and they have been supporting cue sports since 1492.

It was the best cloth and I've been supporting them since 1996 and the email reply I received from them didn't give me any warm fuzzies that they cared, so kind of hard for me to care about 1492 and their support.
