Scot at Proficient is a big fan of Mohawk cues. I haven't seen one up close but have heard nothing but good things about them.

Nice looking cue.

Mohawk Cues

Beautiful cue, they are good players, wish I had the one I sold back in the early nineties

Rod,
Nice pick up
" I think these Mohawk cues were some of the first Southwest replicas"
Cues seemed to play really well too

That's one if my old cues. Looks great after a refinish. Heavy and dense shaft wood IIRC.

Thank you guys, not sure about ACME, it looks like them. Dave Jones refinished it, and lost the Mohawk name on the cap. Better pics soon, these are horrible, lol. Great player, Pat.

I had thought it would cool to have the Mohawk logo etched into the bottom of the bumper.

Mohawk Cue

Rod,
A lot of the Mohawks were known to warp. This cue is dead straight together and apart. The wrap is kangaroo and the finish is one of the best. Dave used to spray cars for a while and knows his stuff when it comes to cue refinishing. Like you said it is a great player. Hope I don't regret letting it go like Pocono. I'm glad you have it now Rod.
