The poolfelt.com method will work for some tables, but may give you fits closing in your side pockets on backed slate tables. Not the same method as the DVD's, but give newbie DIYers something to go by.

The YouTube video shows the Simonis method but obviously doesn't go into the step by step detail that the DVD does, so it's hard to learn how to slack and index the cloth to get a proper stretch.
