Is Dakota Cue Club still open or under a different name? I'm going to be in town for a few days.

Also, does SVB still live there and is he in town?

Not anymore, it's a night club. Shane plays at Lucky ' s when he's in town, downstairs on the Diamonds.

Shane can also be found at JJ's from time to time but I think he won't really be in town much for the next month and a half. He is doing the make it happen event then headed to England for World Pool Masters. I think he usually gets to Rapid City over Thanksgiving and I think he has some Team USA events scheduled leading up to the Mosconi Cup.

Thanks. I might drive up to Fargo instead.

Little late to this thread but the Cue Club is still there, it's called Bigs now.

The Dakota Cue Club was on the left side separated by a wall from the bar on the right side which was called Bigs. Last summer when I passed through Sioux Falls, Gary, the new owner had taken down the wall between the separate businesses, took out a lot of the Diamond tables, and was redoing the floor to just bare concrete for a night club. When were you there last?

Last week. They still had a couple big tables and there are tables on both sides now. Not sure how much they get moved around though.

Should have gotten back here earlier. I was wrong about Cue Club. I got back there this weekend and they had a stage set up and were down to 5 tables. They are definitely going a different way. :( Only place I have left to play on big tables and a snooker table is Sport Bowl.

Edit: Also 2 of the 5 had a furniture mover underneath them so I'm guessing they are moved around a fair bit at Cue Club/Bigs.

Man, it sounds like you played some hicks in the backwoods of SD!

He didn't say he beat either of them, and Danny plays a little under SVB speed. I've seen both their games as I redesigned the Diamond 9ft s there when I dropped of a new Diamond 7 ft ProAm at their place.

Those pockets were huge, must have been around 4 5/8. I prefer 1P at around 4&1/4 or a tad smaller.

PS. Baltimore Fri&Sat
