I have a Sledgehammer with Patent Pending & MG initials on the butt.

Is this an "original" or where in the Sledgehammer evolution does it fit.

A friend of mine has the same cue. I've often wondered about this. I've seen "patent pending" on several cues before, including the Pred Air. What does this mean in practice? I didn't know you could release a product without a patent.

Patents are to protect the product from being copied.

This was the original logo.

Just about every Sledgehammer I've seen was marked that way. If I'm not mistaken the original run cues had a 3/8 pin, where the later ones used a radial. I know there were 2 different radials used also.

There were very few with this logo. I still need to see both pins.
