If anyone lives near here and is available when they are cheap would you mind going to shoot with me?
So far Ive gone twice and shot with random people ive met

Monday- met a guy whose been shooting for 35yrs he could bank 7 rails hit the ball in, he called the shot but he could not play safe at all in one pocket but he was certainly a huge challenge to me because he made almost any shot I left him.

Wednesday night- group of 30 year olds came over challenged me one played with a viper pro series from academy and when i started trying he left, sent his friend over who could run but was not very consistent with his stroke and he walked away from me as well. Atleast it wasnt mid game like the other guy but still I mean I wasnt gambling made it clear but they just I guess got frustrated by having a 19yr old run 3/5 racks of 8ball on them :rolleyes:

My brother goes to play but hes not much of a challenge because I dont really try. I am by no means looking for any sort of gambling, just want someone who is better then me and can point out mistakes I make and help me learn if at all possible?


monday night- free pool starting at 7 i believe
wednesday night- starting at 7 5$ bracelet free for the rest of the night

weekdays 1pm-7pm half price hours.

If you can run 3/5 racks of 8 ball it may be hard to find someone better then you. They are out there, but thats pretty good shooting.

Uhh no im not that good jeez i can run a rack but usually its 1/20 or so maybe a bit less often but when im playing on point and stuff i can usually have a 6 ball run fairly consistently.

and is there anyone in the galleria area of houston that would like to help me out?
 
thats kind of ridiculous but some place charge an arm and a leg fro a bottle of water I know there are a few places that charge you for a fouintain soda if you get a cup of water..

Monday: free pool with equal purchase & BCA sanctioned Straight pool league
Tuesday: BCA sanctioned Vegas league
Wednesday: all day pool for $5
Thursday: in house 8 ball league
Sunday: all day pool for $5
 
nobody that really plays pool in houston plays at the slicks fountainview location. drive a lil further down westheimer to dairy ashford on a tuesday night and you'll find plenty of pool players of all skill levels and ages.
 
I did not know that, and I dont always go for a match just to practice different english and stuff like that to learn. I would like someone to help me a long. But not everyone will help
