Slow Forum Response Time.....Post Here to Record

I don't know about you folks but the response time of the Forum seems to be worsening & deteriorating.....I'll concede that there have to be occasions where it could be my IP provider or my equipment (wireless router, computer, etc.). Nonetheless, the frequency seems to be steadily on the up tick.....or so it seems to me.


What I thought might be useful for the House Pro to have was some type of record to check based upon when someone was reporting slow response time and how long was the duration, ex., if it was reported happening like now.....which is the reason for this post......did it continue up to say an hr later? Maybe there was more posts to confirm that.

In any event, if there was indeed a the problem, it could have improved already by the time I post this thread but it was sure slow for the last 15 minutes and earlier today as well.

WTF!!!????? 1 minute and 44 seconds to load this page..........usually after 7 am est time the speed is what it should be...but this morning it is just torturous! :angry:
we send satellites to the far reaches of the galaxy and, despite our reporting to jerry or the techs herein, it remains a daily problem. just not worth it anymore prior to 7 am....and today's speed has resulted in my being to aggravated to continue! :angry:

When it seems to have frozen for me, I just hit the reload button on my browser and it loads quickly, usually.
 
I heard that Mike started using the 1-Pocket.com computer program to run this site.

Yeah, I usually run into super slow periods from 6:30-8:00am CDT lately. Other than that though it works fine. I don't see it as a huge issue since it's pretty centered around, what I assume is, a fairly low traffic timeframe. It's reall early PDT and overall is probably a good match for the average pool players schedule, tending towards night owlism as they do (not me....I'd go play at 9am on a Saturday if my place was open then).

well, it s before 7 am est so of course it is slow (18 seconds to load this page) but it has been worse in the past. maybe I should consider this a fast speed being it is before 7am........

As someone who goes to bed a 2400 and gets up at 0200 - 0400 it's slower then most. How long? Today up at 0400 and it wouldn't load. Opened again at 0600 after closing and moving on to other sites.
 
You guys know there's other stuff on the Internet besides this site right?

Cat videos, nekkid ladies, and that's pretty much it.
 
If a problem isn't recognized....the severity isn't admitted.....then the problem can be never be defined nor solved........and reporting the information is the only hope things will get better.

p.s. other sites are blah..............
