Women do not take refusal well.
Not a much experience with it as men have, I guess.

Are you planning on turning pro? Before a tournament or a match, a few times have arisen where I'm simply not leaving the house due to my GF.
Two or three times, I'd say I'm in a good mood, and play better as a result - This weekend being one of them. I played pretty good at a local tournament, didn't win but kept up with some of the biggest fish in the pond. I don't ever mind losing if I am playing my best possible game. Other times I have definitely played worse when arriving on an empty tank, to a point where I have blamed being tired or complacent on low-energy/concentration.
Just curious on what other people feel about doing the deed prior to match day? Not like we are boxers and need that extra in the tank![]()
Can't say I'm ever going to turn it down, just wondering if anyone would, does or has?
No, but I'd like to play my best game. I often play against high level players, sometimes pros and would like to be as competitive as I can be.Are you planning on turning pro?
Case closed.

hahahaha thanks for the laugh and the thoughtful reply. Think like another person suggested. Best to get a gatorade and a snickers on my way to any game after.Well you know how it's good to have a clear head when you play pool? I can't think of any better way, see closely related: post nut clarity. When your head is clear and your body if flooded with "feel good chemicals" you aren't worrying about the jackass that cut you off on the highway. You can think better.
It couldn't hurt. And if you say no it will create tension and anxiety if you accidentally catch yourself thinking about the situation while in a game. If you say yes then it's a natural relief of tension and anxiety.
I'd say if it's offered then it would definitely be beneficial to your game to accept. If I were your opponent I'd at least appreciate if you washed your hands with soap afterward.![]()
