I am getting geared up for this year's shootout. This is one of my favorite events and I have been lucky enough to attend the last 6 or 7 years . This is a benefit tournament held in Waynesville NC every April to benefit the ARC of Haywood County which is an organizaton for children with special needs.

The field fills early every year (128) and may be the toughest bar table tournament in the southeast. Guys like Stevie Moore, Shannon Daulton, Larry Nevel, Scotty Townsend, Hennessee, Brian White and many other strong players make up the field year in and year out. I hear Keith Bennett will be here this year as well.

This event raises money for a great cause and I am looking forward to being a part of it again this year. If you are within driving distance you should come check out the tournament this weekend, you will have a great time and support a worthy cause.
 
Hope you have fun ktown I have got to miss this year (regretfully) Hope you shannon and Marge have a great time,I am going to vegas the 17th and I cant do both,Gary Caldwell is a great person and The Arc a great cause

I plan on having fun and I hope I play well and make some noise. To bad you couldn't make it, maybe next time.

I'm gonna try my best to get up there one day, Ktown... If not, tell everyone hello for me.

I heard through the grapevine that your horse is hitten em pretty sporty. I may have to run him up in the calcutta :smile:

Yeah, he called me yesterday and told me he was splitting the pocket pretty well. I can't afford him so have fun with it.......:D
