smooth nappy cloth?

I know I've seen a hundred threads about cleaning cloth but I don't think I've ever seen one about smoothing/improving the speed of cheap cloth. Have any one of you guys done any experimenting in that area? Don

Yes, I've done a lot of experimenting with cheap, nappy cloth....but I always end up throwing it away after I'm done, and replacing it with better made cloth:grin:

you can shave it down. I used oster clippers with a #40 blade so that I could use the back side of some old simonis ....

worked okay ....but I doubt i would do it again ....
