Nice clean cue from Ryan. Ebony and BEM combo. Cocobolo accent rings, with birdseye joint and buttcap. Enjoy!

Ryan does very nice work. He put a stack leather on my Schon and it is perfect. This is a very nice cue , and like was already said, probably under priced. Jim

While "Rat" cues may not seem like a genius marketing move, it actually is a choice made by Ryan, and it is personal in nature. Despite whatever the perceived "handicap" that the name gives them, the cues of course speak for themselves in quality, and Ryan is very knowledgeable and has great service on his product.:D

how much did you have to do with the design?
more specifically, did you choose that joint?
While I have had some influence in a few Rat originals, this cue was all Ryan's design. It flat out plays great. The pictures will never come close to reproducing the beauty of the ebony/maple combination. There are actually 4 of these cues total, and all are for sale.

It is a nice cue, and for $300, it's a great deal if you want it.

The hell man........if you want to GIVE it away just drop it off at the local Goodwill. :D

Interesting joint set up. I'm sure it plays well, just wondering what kind of sound the hit has. Rat's been doing some really nice work. I wouldn't count on the bargain prices lasting to long.

It is an honor to receive positive feedback from established cuemakers such as Mr. Varney and Mr. Klein. I am familiar with one's product and will soon become acquainted with the other's. Ryan's cue hits very firm with very consistent response on each different shot. The maple joint, because it's cored, sounds not much different that say a linen joint, maybe quieter is all.
