Not that I should continue to waste any more time with you...but to answer your question. What you are seeing is a shadow. On this cue I used a collar on the only place needed, the female section of the jump joint. On the male section I slightly bevel or "break" the edge as gunsmiths call it. This slight bevel keeps the wooden edge from getting dinged/chipped up over years of use.
Below is a pic of 3 j/b's...you can clearly see the shadow again in the last cue pictured.

For the love of J. Christ, will anyone that knows Kevin please help find out what is going on with my cue? Supposed to get tracking info Tues. according to this post. I sent tracking info Tues. I just found out apparently a few pm's did not go through. I just resent the tracking info to you Jim. You could of simply sent a pm. They all get replied to in due time. Your cue may arrive today....you'll need to sign for it. And due to me running behind...you got a few extra's you didn't pay for...like ringwork & laminated shaft. Now I'm going back to the shop to finish completing another group of late cues....just so everyone will understand if I'm not on AZ 24/7.Buckeyejim said:
