Im looking to buy a sneaky pete I think I've narrowed it down to either a bob freys or a predator my budget is around $300 cheaper would be better but i've heard alot of good things from both of these any input about these or about others brands possible cheaper before i spend my money would be very appreciated another thing is what are the pro's and con's of wood to wood and ss joint I've shot with a wood to wood Joss sneaky pete and I wasnt really to impressed with the feel it seemed like it was butt heavy, but the guy also had his shaft turned down a pretty good bit I dont know if that anything to do with it, I would really like to hit with the cue before i buy it. So also if anyone knows anywhere around northwest to Atl where i can try out one that would be helpful...Thanks guys

Frey sneaky is the best in the world!

Forget sneaky and think wow Bob Frey! Hands down the best sneaky in the world ooooooooooooo that has to ruffle some feathers. Cuesnthings has some with no wait. You get pin choice and wieght choice and joint style! I speak from experience. When you see a player with one of his cues it usually means trouble! Join the club. Nick

dont buy predator, biggest mistake youll make, go with the FREY HANDS DOWN

I don't know about a Frey, and I hope everyone likes them, but there is a reason why so many play with Predator shafts.

Because they dont know any better?

oh wait because of THE PERCENTAGE LESS DEFLECTION who cares. Predators got you brainwashed, talk to any good players from overseas, like taiwan, and phillipines, most of the ones ive met would never use a predator shaft, especially that stupid z shaft.

If for some reason you do decide to go with a predator, i know a friend whos got one in good condition, moori tip, 314 shaft, and its the most expensive model, with linen wrap, and SS joint.

He can do $270 shipped.

WHY? I like mine, I am just selling it because I ugraded to a 60" cue and I already miss it. But I committed to sticking with my new cue and don't want to be a collector so that is why I am selling it. Now I am not saying this Bob Frey cue isn't better, but I think the Predator is a very hood cue.

Thanks guys for all your opinions, i only have one more question before i make my decision a friend of mine recommended to get keith Josey in Savannah Ga, to make a sneaky pete he said i could probably get one for a $200 from him has anyone ever tried out one of his cues.. again thanks

i dont like predators at all... they hit like garbage imo.. go with the frey!!

Thank you!!! Garbage cues!! Never buy anything from predator, the hit is horrible!

Ive heard good things about them, i wouldnt be hesitant at all to get a SP from them for $200. I dont know about that price though, might be higher. If it is indeed $200, let me know and i will pick one up myself. Ive ehard good things about them.

We were at Bob Freys yesterday. The Gunnslinger is getting yet another cue. Bob's place was hopping he had two drop in while we were there, many calls, he's just hot hot hot, and still one of the nicest cue makers around.
Scottlucasi19 get whatever cue makes you happy, but when you get a Frey, you have a cue that will last you forever. (it's like a hallmark card)
happy shopping mrs.g
