Hey! I have been thinking about buying a new cue recently and i came across this post. I love sneaky petes but i like them "converted" i guess you would say. What is that material on the butt cap and joint? Phenolic or what am i trying to think of here? lol the orange material that most custom cue makers use on their sneaky petes? Anyway I like that material and I like the pin that mcdermott uses, not sure off the top of my head what it is. Anyway do you make something like I'm describing from these cues? This sounds like a crazy good deal from what everyone is posting. Thanks Jim!

The pin in my cue is a 3/8 11, this is the same pin used for Southwest and Omen to name just a few. McDermott uses a 3/8 10 pin. The brown material used at the joint, butt cap, ferrule is phenolic. I had this cue set up as a break cue and it is also a conversion.
Jim can build a nice conversion to your specs and it will play solid. I use my break cue to play with as well from time to time. It has a nice hit, good feel, and looks great to boot. I feel that you would be well served by a cue built by Jim and you will like what your money will buy for you. Give it a try, there are far worse cues to buy for the money and you can't go wrong with the customer service you will get to go along with that cue.
