Sniper Tip Question

Kind of a hard question. Neither actually. The Sniper has the contol of the S but the "hit" of the M. Maybe the best way to describe it that its like an Elkmaster thats really firm and won't mushroom. Go to the Tiger website and read names of all the pros playing with it. I put Snipers on for several of the top women pros...they all love them. Makes inside english a thing of beauty...I was hitting stroke shots with a cue with 2 shafts that are identical except one had a Moori M and the other the Sniper. Missed often with the Moori...seldom missed with the Sniper. I was using EXTREME inside english and the Sniper just fired the ball into the back of the pocket...and I got a ton more spin/travel/action with the Sniper. I'm sold...no more Moori's on my cue.

I've been a Moori medium player and think they are great tips with good chalk retention, feel and few miscues.

However, Kevin Varney talked me into trying a Sniper on my new Varney SP and I must say that it is as good or better than the Moori. Today I was working on kick shots using maximum english (for me) and was able to go about a diamond further on cross table kicks with the Sniper on my new cue than with the Moori on my old cue.

Holds chalk well, no mushroom so far and plays good. Does take some time to get used to the feel.

Feel of a Medium (does not feel like a sponge like a Morri S), and holds up great. A lot less money, for me $15US installed compared to a Morri at $40US.
