U guys work on them lately ?
I just did two of them.
They are no like what they used to be from what I've seen.

Snipers

Put one on from a new supply today. Not at all like my old batch. It was almost spongy feeling and cut weird. The customer shot with it and had no complaints. I seriously wanted to cut it back off. Brian.

Same thing I saw.
No more of them.
tnx

Guess it can happen to any batch but the last one I cut delaminated.

Not like normal tho, just kind of blew apart. I have one left, after that, no more.

No one asks for them anyway. Have a few die hard Everest users so always keep a box for them.

All I've used is old stock, so I wouldn't apply to the question. Haven't had any problems with the older ones though, In fact used them on one of My personal shafts all the time, but switched It over to try one of Tom's tips, and been using that one since. Luckily I don't get a lot of requests for them, and I can get use to different tip given a little time. I would like to know if It just turns out to be a bad batch though.

I only have one thing to say about them. THEY LIKE TO FALL APART. I'm not a fan of Tiger tips.....not......one.....bit....

I've seen Everest come apart a few times, since they come stock on several aftermarket shafts.

I asked Tiger to send out a tip once, in good faith(I was going to do labor for free), and after they agreed I never heard back.....

They said "it was in the mail".........bah

I had problems with them, either delaminating or being spongy. I stopped using them and people stopped asking for them...

tips

I had that problem years ago and then they were ok again. Right now I'm still using old stock so who knows.

Do the Onyx tips suffer from the same problems? Have a cue being made and having it put. If so, may switch to the Kamui blacks. Thnks.

I've played and installed Snipers for years and always like them, but I changed a year or so to Onyx and like them much better. Never had trouble with more than the 1st 1 or 2 layers delaminating on the Snipers.
