The Saudi Arabia Snooker Masters tournament is going on right now. The prize fund is about $2.7 million. Ronnie O'Sullivan is scheduled to play at 12:30 (Eastern) on Thursday. He had a tough match today. The World Snooker Tour is streaming three tables on https://www.wst.tv/

Well, the people there did show up, but it's surprising that there are only about 50 in the audience.

Why is it surprising? The people there don’t give a shit about these events. They sponsor these events to attempt to shift the narrative about who they are as a country. Same reason they started a golf league or pay Christiano Rinaldo hundreds of millions of dollars to play soccer there.

The thing is, there are like five snooker/pool clubs in the city. You would think that some of their customers would go watch.

In any case, Ronnie has some more frames to get a third.

Ronnie seems to have a permanent smile on his face off the table, shown here with Chris Wakelin at the conclusion of their match. He's enjoying his life to the fullest, which includes snooker. Yay!

I imagine the WST stats guy would know. Maybe not a record. It could have gone 6-5 and Ronnie could have scored more in his losses.

Ronnie and Neil Robertson. Robertson has been in kind of a lull the past several years and was out of the top 16 for a while. He seems to have regained some form.
