Snooker - O'Sullivan vs Higgins on now

If only professional pool in USA had a game we played that took at least 38 shots per rack............

One pocket? I'd guess the average is over 38 shots per rack. And the shots tend to take longer than 13 seconds.:)

And to pick a nit, 22 is a not an unreasonable minimum number of shots at snooker: break-off, break of 80, miss, concede.

In the snooker forum there used to be puzzles involving improbable scenarios such as the shortest possible frame. I think that would be six shots:
break-off that pockets all the reds and the black -- 7 away
Break of yellow-blue, the score is 21-0
miss
concede with snookers required (13 remaining)

just finished watching the final. what a cool cat neil robertson is. that precision under such pressure, unbelievable.
