Love it. My Stang gets 10mpg /91oct or higher. I’m letting the dollar circulate. My local room is about 5-8mi. The other one is a 45 minute ride.

Around $4 or so in Colorado.
My Blazer (2002) gets 15 MPG but a round trip commute to work is only 4.4 miles.
And the wife's car gets 28 MPG and it's just a grocery getter ,we bought it new in 2018 and it only has 18K miles on it.

I hardly ever drive anymore. We might drive 10k miles a year between me and Mrs Fatboy and 80% of that is her going to visit her mom & family in vegas. I doubt I drive 1000 miles a year.

All jokes aside, gas prices are brutal and it’s just like in the past, going to tax the hell out of a lot of people who are just trying to earn a living who have to drive a lot. And other prices as deliveries cost more. Inflation.

That horse shot about transitory inflation. Who’s dumb enough to believe that? Inflation is a process not a event. It has to work it’s way from start to finish. People have such short memories. Gonna be a long one-again.

I’m ready for what ever the economy throws at me. I prepared all my stuff to endure what ever happens.

Best

We chipped in for gas when we were 16. How do you chip in for electric?

My Z32TT gets ~20mpg if I keep my foot out of it (I normally don't)...and my RAM3500 5.9L Cummins gets ~17 unloaded, ~13 with a load. I work from the same property I live; I don't HAVE to go anywhere.... My wife OTOH commutes ~60 miles per day. Her Kia Forte gets ~40mph.

My favorite table is here at home. We don't drive much. House is paid for cause we're old. Sorry for the younger folks. You get what you vote for. Carter, Obama and now Biden all gave us trippling of gas prices. What do they all have in common? Socialist democrat ideology multiplied by economic ignorance.

I noticed Carter has one extra letter in his name.

I don’t vote. Never will, none of the are worth voting for. How we can’t come up with a better leader or even other people in power is amazing to me.

I don’t drive much at all anymore. I can’t stand driving these days.

The economic headwinds appear to be happening. I hope it’s not to brutal.

Best and good luck

Howdy All;

Mentioned it before that I may not live in the middle of Nowhere but I can see it
when I step out the front door. chuckle. I have dr. appointments (therapy stuff), and
the nearest is 60 miles 1-way. My vehicle is a 04 F-250 with a 6.0L Diesel which I had
upgraded by Bulletproof Eng. back in '15. If I stay on the St. Hiway back-n-forth I get
18 to 19 mpg. On the Interstate I get 15.5 -16.5. Gotta watch the RPMs. over 2000 and
mpgs drop like a hot rock. So, with grocery gettin' factored in I do close to 300/week.
Fuel in Las Cruces has stayed near $5.15/gal. up here at TorC they be proud of theirs,
they ask $5.65 and up for the same gallon.
