So, how tight "are" the tables?

We were chatting about how tight the tables were going to be and had the rumors of them being alot tighter this time around. So are they loose as usual? Or are they tight now making accuracy pretty important?

Awesome, thanks for the link. I am very happy they have finally decided to tighten up the tables. This will really seperate the top players from the rest over the long haul I think.

Yes it was, that was at the fashion 9 pool club. The tables at the venue are different. They still look pretty generous too me though. I certainly wouldn't think they are any tighter than the diamond pros that they use at the reno event for those that have been there.

I dont' know if its just me, but from reading Blowfish's play-by-plays, it seems like the balls aren't dropping as easily off the break. It also seems like the players are missing slightly more than the previous years. Can someone who's watching confirm this? This could be very wrong because it's just my impression from reading the posts.

the pockets during the qhalifier are huge and bigger advantage for everybody. you can even cheat the pockets like ur playing on the bar box. at the finals tournament they are more tighter. the pockets are about less than 2 balls wide.(ok) the qualifying tables are MORE than 2 balls wide.

I can confirm that there were a couple of easy shots missed, jawed and wing balls not making it. The small packets are really taking an effect. This is the best they have done for WPC.

Are they tighter or less forgiving than the tables at Hardtimes Sacramento?
