So what happened to Danny the Kid D last night???

So this dinner show with Danny Basavich (however you spell it) last night was advertised for about a month. I was actually looking forward to it on Tomsrivertv. I went to the site and could not get it iat all. I called the number to the venue and the woman sounded a little nervous and said " O eerm well... they are not showing it" ok I said "is there a reason" there was a pause and I could hear her talking to someone about it but couldn't make out what was being said. She came back and said "Not sure it may be technical trouble" it all sounded strange and so i was wondering if anyone went and get a report how their experience. Let me know, thanks,
 
I guess nobody knows what happened. Where is the person that was on here promoting it?
 
I watched it for about a half hour on the website. From what I saw, it really wasn't geared to real pool players. He set up some trick shots, most of which were extremely easy setup shots. I mean, Im sure it would have been nice in person, good food and a great personality, but via web... you didn't miss much.

I couldn't even get it. I was about 1/2 late to watch it so it must have gone off right after you stopped watching. Was it open to the public or just to the people who paid for the dinner?

This is about Kid D and dinner, not pool. Kid D doesn't post here, so according to Wilson's logic, this isn't pool related...............

This has as much to do with pool as Calcutta fights, funny pic threads, best food at a pool hall, free dvd, flying with cues and scott frost spider bites. Which are ALL on the first page of the main forum.

I don't know then what is and is not classified as pool related. I thought that a well known player performing a exhibition that was live streamed was pool related. If I am wrong on that then I am not sure what I can ever post again. I'm sorry if this thread has upset you in any way I didn't realize.
 
Just another note...

We all understand there is an NPR forum as well as other forums like "straight pool", "action", "canadian", "derby city", "us open" ect. How many times have you see a thread about straight pool in the main forum??? How about derby city? Or gambling? How about the us open? Point being.... who cares. Its ALLLLLL pool related. Thats why we are hear and not AZLawndarts.com
