what kind of devices are there out there for improving stroke mechanics at home without a pool table?

what is good about them and what is bad?

I ask b/c im currently developing a device that is based off a tool we used to use in baseball as kids that my uncle made for us.

It was solely responsible for my high accuracy in making contact with the ball where i wanted to with the bat........it was highly repeatable and easy to use, 15 years later and they sell things just like it now.

its not going to be a gaffe device like some and will promote the same things that we learn from our top instructors......addressing the finish.

I should be done with this in a few weeks and will send one around for demo testing by anyone who wants to try it, we will do it mail from person to person each trying it out for a week and then you mail to the next guy and so on.

The name of my device is going to be "The Soap On A Rope"

because it will clean up your game!

can't wait to show everyone

hey guys/gals one of our members mentioned that if those from canada wanted to join it would be a pain with shipping........so because of that once we are done I'll send one out to our northern friends to mail back and forth to one another and one or two out here in the USA depending on what the interest is.

thanks,
Keebie

You know a plumb bob with a velcro band that encircled the bicep would be a handy visual aid.

Something else you might try is to put a Staples Easy button on the students chest so when they are doing their mother drills when they hit their finish position it says That was easy.

lmfao thats pretty darn good...........finish.....that was easy lol

Keebie...Rufus' idea is a good one, and you don't even have to buy a plumb bob. I use a simple piece of chalk, taped to a string, that can be used just like Rufus suggested. I just hold the string on a person's elbow joint, so that they can see if their elbow is perpendicular to the cuestick, when the tip is at contact with the CB. Visual are the best at getting people to see what they're doing.
