Soft Tips

Had trouble with miscuing with kamui soft tips lately, anybody have advice on what tips seem to play the best now in the softer style?

Try an Ultraskin. Don't seem to glaze like the Kamui's.
I’d heard this said before, doesn’t seem to be true for me. I’ve been experimenting with US blacks last few months. I find US black mediums to play almost identical to Kamui black soft. I think both can be thought of as “Medium-Soft”, perfect for me. Both need only very minor grooming after initial shaping. I play a lot and this means a 20 second touch up with sand paper or light scuffer about 1x every 1-2 weeks. But I haven’t seen any modern medium/soft tip that doesn’t…

I gave up on kamui years ago because of glazing
been using g2 soft for years now and very happy with its performance

I am a soft tip player for years, but recently tried a G2 Medium and have been very pleased. This one actually replaced a plain ol' LePro.

I also switched to TAOM chalk at the same time, so that may be a factor? Not sure. The tip does stay chalked better though.

I know I'm going to get blasted for this but if you chalk after almost every shot then it is not the tip's fault.
I'll go so far as to say it is never the tip's fault if you chalk continually.
The player comes out of the shot even just a tiny bit and bingo.....miscue.
It's the Indian not the arrow.
Stay down and shoot through the shot, even the softest hit shots, and you will not miscue.
