I don't do it but I think Quickbooks Pro will do what you are asking.

I used it for many years and it is very user friendly.

I've messed with quick books and inflow, but I prefer just a simple Excel speadsheet because I can write it exactly to suit my needs.

I got kind of confused by the different replies you got to your query.

What are you trying to track specifically?

The price paid vs the cost and time spent of the repair?
The inventory of replaceable parts used in the repair?
The before and after pictures and description of the repair?

All are admirable pursuits.

i wrote a WPF application that uses access as a backend database and jet drivers so you don't have to have microsoft office installed to use it. Thought about posting it for a few people to use it, if you are interested pm me.

well..lets just say i figured out not to quit my full time job
