Solution for a wrap less SW?

Been seeing a lot of post with guys wanting a wrap less SW.

If you want a wrap less SW that bad....why not just have someone refinish a regular SW and cover the linen wrap like a meucci cue? I would imagine that would give you the feel of a wrap less cue. It's like having your cake and eating it too, a wrap cue without a wrap.

well that would give you the feel, but i think probably a lot of the people want the look of a wood handle

Heck if adding an ivory joint and butt cap increases the value by 5x, not done by SW, then just have a new handle put in. Heck it's done overseas all the time, and even here once in a while.

No it wouldn't. It would feel like a wrapped cue with plastic on it!!! If memory serves, a wrapless cue feels smooth because there's JUST WOOD.

No, that's not correct either, because the player doesn't want both, he JUST WANTS A WRAPLESS CUE. IT's not like having your cake and eating it too, it's like wanting pie and getting served a cake wrapped in a pie crust, which is an altogether disgusting creation!!!

If i remember correctly Taiwanese pro fu chei wei has done a similar thing on his SW.
