Havent posted in awhile, thought I would post some eye candy. A Balabushka I bought from John Wright many years ago.

I figured out how to upload photos and I wanted to replace the Photobucket deletes, still having some challenges with sizing, so I couldn’t upload some others at this time.

WOW...
Need to cover my keyboard the next time I look at eye candy like that...too much drooling.
Simply awesome.

Hope that you will visit more often and open the vault with additional photographs of these gems. Would love to see more details of the Butt!

Great looking cues. A good example of quality over quantity. If you had no other cues that would be a good collection. They will also appreciate.

Do You Still Have The Gus? It Looks A Lot Like One That A Fellow Az Just Posted The Other Day? Just Curious.

NEVERMIND, I JUST FOUND THE OTHER ONE, THEY ARE VERY SIMILA, BUT YOURS HAS A DIFFERENT DOT PATTERN IN THE BOTTOM.....

THAT IS ONE OF MY ALL TIME FAVORITE DESIGNS. I LOVE WINDOWS AND PROPELLORS

Incredible pieces

It don't get much better than this. I can only dream that one day I can own a cue of this caliber. :)

Yes I still have all these cues, I added another Gus to the first photo. BTW I had a Barry that matched the propeller Gus Cue but sold it 2 or 3 years ago.

Great to have those bragging rights.

Better than looking at porn. I can look all I want but just can't touch, it won't mess up my computer and I still get my nuts off.

Thanks for sharing.

Which one do you like playing with? Just wondering in case I ever have the opportunity to get any of them.

Thanks

They all hit great but I play with the Mottey on the Bottom of this picture, Paul put a ivory joint on it for me, this photo was the before picture. It has 12.3 and 12.5 mm shafts, it works best for me.

One of my Regrets ...

Fromthebeginin,
I had a chance to buy your Balabushka cue at the same time you purchased it from John Wright. One day John called me and described the Bushka cue and I hesitated only a few days. By the time the photos arrived you had bought it.
This is one of my few regrets in life. It is truly a one-of-a kind and a stunning cue.

Best Regards,
Hal in Ohio

Hal thanks. John was a great guy I bought and learned a lot from him, what is nice I also have the Chicago Tribune article with a photo of him holding the cue. He will be missed, if I ever want to sell it now I know someone who may want it.

I used to love speaking with John. He had a the same passion for cues as I do, only he had the money to do something about it. I really like the Gus, particularly the ivory window between the other inlays in the butt. I don't think I have seen that on any other cues. Really nice.
