Here are some pictures of cues that have been in my collection.. They are some beautiful examples of Jerry Franklins talent. The 6ptr is a newer cue...
I have recently found a new home for these beauties...They are NOT for sale.

Very nice collection.

Thanks for sharing the pictures.

I love those South West cues...especially the Purple Heart and Ebony and the Ivory.

Beautiful looking Southwests Ken. I can't wait for my name to come up. Definitely have to get a fancy Southwest done up and I agree, Purple Heart and Ebony make an awesome wood pairing for cues.

You may have a problem, I don't believe at this time they are making any fancy cues, the shop is short handed and they don't have someone doing inlay work right now.

i believe when a dealer buys a cue, he always intends on selling it...
the only questions is when....

I live right down the street from an auto dealer, he has about 600 cars on the lot, about 10 Corvettes, is he a car collector? Does he have a collection of Vettes? I'm just impressed you're displaying at an ICC show, I've never met anyone who's done that.

Jim

Hell am I a cue dealer???

Jimbo -

Kinda the opposite of what you are saying. I have 11 cues, constantly look to upgrade.

I without question, would sell any of them puppies if the price was right or opportunity for an upgrade.

Does that make me a dealer?

I crack me up.

I'm happy I impressed you...
Someone you and I both know is the largest collector of cues...
He has hundreds of cues, BUT sells some to me... Are his hundreds of cues NOT a collection anymore??.. Now he's a dealer??
I guess this just leaves you being the only collector on AZ... Everyone else sells at some time..
Xanex will set you free.....
Lots of Laughs...

I'm not sure why you crack yourself up, but I wish I could get the joke. Many people who collect look to sell or trade to upgrade, it's a common practice. What would not be considered common practice is to set up a booth at VF and have a web site selling your cues. Which BTW if you did both I would have to say yes you are a dealer. I might also add that I know Ken personally and I know a bit about him, trust me he's a salesman (if you know what I mean).

Jim

jimbo,

if someone sells and trades cues to make money so they can 1st, have more cues pass through their hands so they can buy at better prices, and 2nd, make money to support their cue purchasing habit, doesnt that make them BOTH a dealer and a collector?

that's smart guy if you ask me.
