Although I already knew them, I just stared at those pictures for about 15 minutes agan

Those Amaranth splices are really kickass! Especially those shafts! They must be the fanciest shafts I've ever seen.

And I'm sure, those pictures don't even do the cues justice. When I got my cues, I was very amazed about how sharp those points really were!

I'm interested in the "synthetic stone" material. Is it a russian product? Could you maybe make a close-up picture of it's structure?

Excuse me. I have cleaned the PM box. I have answered all PM's. Thanks.

Wow

This is some of the best woodworking, I have seen here in the last few years. You have "the cue Force, is strong within you!"

Have you tried the ebony at the upper end of the shaft like the old Brunswicks? How do they play next to these? Do the cue ball dance with more or less action?

The part about the ebony splice into the shaft like some of the old cues i see is something that i am really curious to find out as well.

The picture in the avatar. I think it constitute to cruelty to animals! You Star Wars fan?

The black wood is not ebony but "black hornbeam". Hornbeam plays amazingly! (I use a hornbeam shaft)

Thanks all for kind words. It very much helps in work.:)

No. It is Dupont's material.

Those are just beautiful. I need to save more. Anyone for kidneys? ;)

Keep it. Probably sometime it will be possible to drink some beer together. It is useful.:)

All over the world...

Hi Dimitry.....
Nice to have cue makers from different parts of the world posting and to see there work. Yours is outstanding by any measure. Your knowledge about wood and construction techniques is a sign of true professionalism. Good luck

And that customer is still 100% as happy as he was on that day :)

I also use a DBK break cue now.

Just finished.

Just finished.
The first cue - Rosewood, Hornbeam, Ebony, Cocobolo, Amboyna burl, Pear wood. Segmented handle.
Eight positions of ring works including the shaft. A, B, C, D, E, F, G, H positions ???:)

The second cue - Ebony, Cocobolo. Ring works on C, D, E positions with use presumably of horn of a prehistoric deer
(the small fragment has been found together with the mammoth :) ).

Nice Butt

Nice work. I really like that Asian Redwood! That would make a beautiful full splice fancy 'not so' sneaky pete.

Those are truly among my all-time favorites! Great masterpieces of art!

Ringwork from the horn of a prehistoric deer? Does it get any more fancy :D ?

Ringwork from the horn of a prehistoric deer?

So the archeologist which has presented me this fragment has told me.
Also has added "Presumably" :)

It has very interesting structure. It consist as though of granules but very dense and homogeneous. Maybe somebody has assumptions about? If necessary I can try to make macro-photos.
