ALL DONE! PLEASE CHECK THE NEW PICS!!

I have an old Schon that someone undercut WAY too far. Thus causing the handle to warp. I am going to cut this apart to replace the warped piece so I will update as I go.

The whole butt sleeve of this cue is also turned down, for some reason. It also does not match the points or the traditional Schon look. I will be replacing it also.

That would require some monster irish linen...Perhaps an 8 oz cowhide wrap;) . I'm sure the rat will do the schon up nicely.

I'll see how the original was joined and recreate it. The most important thing is the playability of this cue. I have to use the same techniques as original. That includes the balance point, weight added, and overall weight.

Looks like one of those shitty repairs where some one cut a cue from the handle back and attached it to a Schon forearm. I have a seen a few cues like this, I just do not get it.

Oh and by the way, It looks like that forearm may have come from an R8, but it is hard to say for sure. Because people could order that collar design at the joint into the early 1990. It laso could be possible that some one ordered the cue with that butt sleeve.

Have a good day Ryan!!!

Is that a glue relief hole in the forearm?

No. I believe it is just a glue bubble. Normally, relief holes are drilled into the handle wood to release pressure.

I had to core the forearm because the original hole was out of round. I also felt some movement in the points to decided to push some fresh epoxy though them. Rock solid!
