Someone stole Chip Comptons cues and case at the Olathe ,KS event.

Thief picture?

I was told there was a picture of the guy that stole Chips cues on this site. Hmmmm. I saw this guys pic last year, something about stolen cues in Vegas. Was he even at Shooters? I know I put the word out in Topeka to let me know if someone tries to sell this cue. I have people contacting me a lot about selling cues. Some of the pawn shops call me when they get one that is more than they will spend on it. If it turns up here, I will deal with whoever has it.

Sad but more common than what people think. I always tell people who are buying a case NOT to pick a black case because they are too common. I tell people to NEVER leave them in their car. I tell them to only leave them in places they would leave $10,000 cash. That's it. It narrows it down pretty far. Considering the number of pool players that will steal Master Chalk or a Q-Claw, its not far off to start stealing cues.

Watch out for this guy too.

I have contacted all the local dealers about this cue..... If you wish you can contact me at 816-808-1001 and I will assure you that Chip gets his cue back as well. No questions asked. Just call me and I will meet you to pick up these 2 cues anywhere in Kansas City!

He claims to do streams, he takes your sponsor money and just sets up the camera ,and that's it. He ripped somebody off I no in California ,and never paid him. This guy needs to be exposed. BEWARE !

Stealing a mans tools is low. I also used to take my first hi- dollar cue to the bathroom. McDermott d-15 with two extra notched diamonds $65 plus the $275 initial cost was big money for me back then! LOL. Somebody needs to figure out some type of LOJACK for cues. Watched Chip on the stream. Hell my dog has a chip imbedded, but it will only show up at a vets office or the dog pound, and even all of them don't scan every dog. Hi dollar hunting dogs cost as much as a Hercek!!

i want to have an m80 built into mine with a remote detonator. if they steal my cue i'd rather have it, and that thief's hand, blown off than let someone else have it.

i've got my name written under the wrap of the last 5 cues i've owned. if a thief ever argued it was there's to a cop i'd be ok with cutting the wrap off to prove they were lying. i know it's not much but it's all i could think to do because none of my favorite cue makers would put a bomb in the cues for me

Another option (and probably a little cheaper) is to take off the rubber bumper at the end of the cue and write your initials on the inside.

Your post about having the thief's hand blown off is wicked and despicable and I approve the punishment.

My POW-MIA cue has a microchip built into the cue with a particular set of numbers that is relative only to me and no it's not my birthdate. :D

I hate it when I see these threads pop up. Dirty, rotten, scumbag, thieves.
Stealing a mans cue should be like stealing a mans horse back in in the frontier days. When you catch them you string them up.

Cues gone

I think Jon Brown from Des Moines had his cues stolen from the same tournament last year. Somebody making a good score every year? Nothing worse than losing your weapon!
