It looks pretty poor on the IPT and Allison for her to be saying "Efren still has a chance to make the finals!" when he is already assured he is is. Efren knows he is in, we know he is in, I think Ortmann probably knew Efren was in when Allison is all "gee, you can play the spoiler!" but he was too much of a gentleman to correct her in front of the cameras.

It does not take a rocket scientist to figure out the math and that Reyes is already assured of the finals. If they are trying to hype it to the public they are just disrespecting their viewers not assuming that we can do the math ourselves and know the score.

You are absolutely correct. No other first class, professional sports presentation would even think of insulting and disrespecting their fans and viewers like that. Can you imagine a baseball, golf, NBA announcer knowingly and incorrectly stating, that a team or player was (or was not) mathematically eliminated from the playoffs or finals simply to try and peak interest in the game?

Right out of the P.T. Barnum marketing playbook. If they don't get away from these amateur, huckster tactics, they'll never be accepted as a professional sports organization. MHO

At the end of the match Allison Fisher said"I've just received word that Efren has advanced to the final on a percentage point tiebreaker." or words to that affect.

Well I guess at least she was consistent.Bull$hit at the start of the match and more bull$hit at the end.

Or maybe she didn't know because she is bonde?
the thing is, is that the vast majority of people who signed up for the streaming video are on the ball, knowing exactly the implications of the match.Making statements like hers is an insult to their intellect.
