I just bought a cue from Bill Grassley at Cornerstone. I made my best offer and Bill accepted it, but agreed to sell me the cue for even less! I guess the number in his head was a little lower than my offer so he showed generosity. WOW! Another honorable deal with Cornerstone. I thought I would keep the good will going with a little give away of my own.

A few years ago I bought several Danny Diliberto Hall of Fame pictures. I am a big fan of Danny and I also wanted to support a great organization onepocket.org. I gave Danny a few bucks for his time and he graciously signed the pictures. The real gift was the chance to listen to Danny tell stories...

Well unfortunately, this stack slipped behind a desk and was lost. I just found it today. I have 5 pictures signed by Danny that have a bend in them from resting so long behind the desk. They are otherwise in great shape.

Yeah, number 5. Thanks for the great gesture. I'll make one of my own ... please send my poster to johnnyt. Johnny, please PM Drawman your address so he has it to use instead of mine. Postage is paid.

Drawman is too nice. I can't even give mine to Johnnyt because Drawman built in a couple extras. It is an absolute pleasure to have you as a member here.
 
IBA7467 sent me a PM with shipping payment and instructions to mail the picture to johnnyt before I posted that there were a couple extras available...that is a class move IMO. Rep to you IBA7467

We all heard Eddie Felsen say that money won is twice as sweet as money earned...I say that which is given is even sweeter than that which is won.

Thank you for for what you did IBA7467. You are a class act. I'm not a big collector of pool stuff but wanted this poster of Danny D. bad. Danny reminds me of my Dad who came from NY, boxed as a pro, and made his living on the road with a pool cue in his younger days.

And thank you Drawman for throwing in the extra 2, I'm thrilled. Johnnyt
