I am sure you will work some magic on it. Rosewood on rosewood is a great combination.

I hope you are feeling better. Looking forward to meeting you at VF.

Look forward to seeing the end result, Dave.
I know when you use a pre-made blank, even the best of them, you can give up some control over the end result, and a customer has to understand that up front. This combo should yield a beautiful looking cue. I hope you're able bring it in where the two of you would like it.

Me too and i know it will be Hot"

For the love of god, leave it wrapless, Dave.

Rosewood on rosewood, wrapless full splice? Does it get any better than that?.......and how many wrapless R/R cues do you see?

If customer pulls out, stick a piloted ivory 5/16-14 joint on there and I will take it.

si we will see weight wise what it will have. i think i am doing it up ivory joint bumperless hoppe with choc lizard wrap... .050 silver rings

Looks great Dave. I'm really enjoying the cue you made me, it's a great playing cue.

thanks rusty. i told you it played awesome. if i hit a ball with it before i may have never let it go... hahaha. i was deff sad to see it go but i got something super special in return!!!!

R on R

Dang.. it's already sweet. Dave, you're going to make it even sweeter! You're the saccharine of cue makers. Can't wait to see it finished.

Saccharine... Doesn't that give you cancer in your balls??? Ill take it as a compliment thanks. Bumperless hoppe ivory joint ivory ferrules lizard wrap. What should I charge? That's the only thing I haven't figured out yet...

Full splice

$200.. I'LL TAKE IT!! Thanks. PM me so I can get your paypal. Unless you just want the whole amount in quarters?

What happened to the chocolate brown elephant wrap?

Wow Dave - what a great combination, can't wait to see what you do with it, I'm sure it's going to be beautiful.

Is it going to have a wrap ?

What kind of joint ?

Your a very lucky guy to be able to do what you do - create functional art ;)

I believe it will be bumperless hoppe ivory joint and dark brown lizard wrap. I might do a full1.5" ivory buttcap. I will be plain player but I want to go big with it!!! So ivory everything.

I think rosewood into rosewood cues are super special so I want to do it right. It's more about the cue and less about the money if you can understand.

Please keep us updated with pics through out the cue building process Dave.
Its gonna be bad a$$ looking for sure. Are you fully recovered from the accident, no headaches or blurry vision? Keep up the great work sir.
Jeff

here is a pic. 2 passes of 30 tho to true up points perfect. then cut and sanded all rings except ivory hoppe. .050 nickel silver rings. ivory joint ferrules and buttcap
