I'll be needing a set of those, but mine will need to be opposite of these. The pins are in the shafts and not the butt. Looks pretty cool.

can't you just switch them around? Put the shaft cap on the butt, etc?

Jim's setup is the 1/2 x 8 and will not work for mine. I would've needed two with no pin in them and one with a wood pin as well. If it was just one butt and one shaft then yes it would've worked.

gotcha, but you do realize you didn't specifically ask for two shaft protectors in that post, and didn't specifically call out a different pin (someone else reminded you about the pitch difference)
